Isaiah 49:1

Listen to me, coastlands; pay attention, peoples far away. The LORD called me before my birth,
called my name when I was in my motherís womb.

John 1:38-41

38 When Jesus turned and saw them following, he asked, ìWhat are you looking for?î
They said, ìRabbi (which is translated Teacher), where are you staying?î
39 He replied, ìCome and see.î So they went and saw where he was staying, and they remained with him that day. It was about four oíclock in the afternoon.
40 One of the two disciples who heard what John said and followed Jesus was Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter. 41 He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, ìWe have found the Messiahî (which is translated Christ or Anointed One).
