Pastor’s Message for Monday, June 1, 2020

Dear Friends –

You continue to be on my heart and in my prayers as we move through days that remain uncertain. We do not know exactly when we will return to worshipping in the sanctuary. We do not know when a cure and/or a vaccine for the Coronavirus finally will be discovered. We do not know when the unrest in many of our country’s major cities will subside.

Yet, we do know, and hold fast to the promise that God will never leave us nor forsake us; and, to Jesus’ promise to be with us always through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.

“Life doesn’t always turn out like we expect it to and hope is often in short supply. It’s then that we have to decide what we will place our hope in.” (Mark Patterson)

So, where will we place our hope? Where can we find hope?

Join us for worship online this Sunday, June 7, at 10:00 a.m., as we begin a new sermon series, Unshakeable Hope. In these days in which we live, hope is what sustains us. There are over 7,000 promises in Scripture and this Sunday, we will look at God’s promises to us and how they can and will sustain us in this journey and through these days.

May God’s grace and our hope sustain us!

Blessing, peace, and hope!
