Pastor’s Message for Friday, April 3, 2020

Hello, all –

I came across this post and wanted to share it with you. It is a reminder that our current CUMC policy to not hold in-person worship services and other gatherings at the church is not a lack of trusting God, but a heeding of Jesus’s words in Matthew 4:7 – “Do not put the Lord your God to the test.”

So, during this time when we are, rightfully, maintaining physical distance from one another, we will continue to hold online worship services on Sundays at 10 a.m. You can access the services by going to our Cedarville Facebook page or by clicking the link on our website (www.cedarvilleumc.org), which will take you to the worship service.

Also, we will continue to remain connected through Zoom meetings and gatherings, through emails, through phone calls. Please keep up the good work and ministry of caring for one another as you check in with each other while we remain on this current path.

We will get through this difficult time together. And we will once again gather together in our sanctuary, in our Family Life Center for worship; in our classrooms for Bible studies, meetings, and other gatherings; and in our kitchen.

Until then, continue to trust in the one who promises to never leave us nor forsake us!
