Staff Bio

Following a term in the United States Army as a Combat Paramedic in the Gulf War, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Engineering where I worked in the manufacturing world for many years. Having a child with special needs is what originally drove me in the direction of teaching. I have been teaching since 2005. I have taught regular education students in Math, Reading, Science, and History at the Elementary and Middle School level and Math, Reading and Science at the High School Level. I have a master’s degree in Special Education (newborn-21 years old) with a focus in Autism, Emotional Support, and Traumatic Brain Injuries. I love teaching children of all ages. Teaching children about God and his word is always the best class! I love working with our congregation to develop our children’s love of Jesus. I look forward to many more years to influence our younger church members, guiding them through their Christian walk of life.
